Concerned Heart Ministries was born out of a burden for the suffering we saw in our communities here in
Uganda. Every day, we witness real struggles that could not be ignored.
Children were going to bed hungry, surviving on little more than porridge or missing meals altogether.
Many are too weak to concentrate in class, while others drop out of school entirely because their parents
can not afford school fees, uniforms, or even basic scholastic materials. As a result, bright young boys
end up in casual labor or boda-boda riding, and vulnerable young girls face early marriage, teenage
pregnancy, or exploitation.
We also see families battling without access to basic health care.
Diseases like malaria, typhoid, and diarrhea—which can easily be prevented or treated—continued to claim
lives. In rural areas, the lack of clean and safe water forced families to fetch water from ponds, wells,
or swamps, leaving them at constant risk of waterborne illnesses.
In the middle of these struggles, our hearts were stirred not only by compassion but also by faith.
Spiritually, we were inspired by the call of Jesus to “love your neighbor as yourself” (Matthew 22:39).
We believe this love must be more than words—it must be expressed in action. That is why we seek to be
the hands and feet of Christ, serving our communities in practical ways.
Our mission is to demonstrate God’s love through acts of care and service—feeding the hungry, empowering
young people through education, Support income-generating activities, sensitizing about financialliteracy, providing access to clean water, and reaching out to families in need of
health care and hope. We exist to remind every child, youth, and family that they are not forgotten, and
that God’s love is real and present among them.
At Concerned Heart Ministries, we believe that when we join hands as neighbors, we can heal, uplift, and
transform our communities—one life at a time.
Reaching to communities in a holistic way.
Prioritizing Mercy Ministries, Education and Health.
